Stuart was reported home in Wallaceburg fro Christmas 1942 and was reported returning to the east coast. CDN 31/12/42

Stewart appears in a photograph of 27 Navy recruits from HMCS Hunter about to leave Windsor for PEI., for additional training in November of 1942. [for photo see REID, Robert James.]  

The WN 18/03/43(P) was reported along with brothers John and Douglas. O/S. Stewart then of HMCS Cornwallis.
