Smith, Rudolph Charles Carlyle

 

Son of Rudolph and Alberta C. Smith, of Merlin, Ontario, Canada.  The brother of Jean, Marion (Ludwig), Grace, Edna and James.  

Lost his life when in Kittyhawk fighter # FR 131 crashed 45 mile NW. of Faum Fatavin, Egypt.  His body was never recovered. He has no known grave.

Age: 25, KIA – Date of Death: 10/03/1943.

Casualty Type: Commonwealth War Dead, Grave/Memorial Reference: Column 272.

Memorial: ALAMEIN MEMORIAL Egypt..
