Private James Sinnot transferred from the 91st. to the 186th. Battalion, going overseas March 26th, 1917. After training at Bramshott Camp, 4th. Reserve Battalion, he proceeded to France, arriving at Etaples September 4th, 1917, drafted to the 18th. battalion. he received gunshot wounds in the right arm August 26th, 1918, was admitted to hospital at Camieres, and transferred to the County of Middlesex Hospital, Napsbury, St. Albans, England, convalescing at Epsom. Upon recovery he reported at NO.1 C.C.D. Witley, later returning to the 4th. Reserve Battalion. He reported at Rhyl, Wales, leaving for Canada January 12th, 1919
