Previous Military Experience… Joined the R.C.A.F. in October and discharged December 15th. 1942.

Son of Mrs. Alice Sinclair of 94 Adelaide St. North, Chatham, ON. William enlisted in January 1943 and trained in Windsor, ON., Listowel ON and Camp Borton, ON. It was reported that Billy was on leave in August of 1943 and a going away party was held for him at which a gold signet ring was presented. TT 12/08/43.

Billy was reported arriving in England in September of 1943. TT 23/09/43. He served as a dispatch rider with a tank unit.  He served as a dispatch rider with a tank unit.

 

The CDN 22/06/45 reported that he was arriving the morning of the 22nd in London, ON. and in Chatham that evening.
