Victor was born in Sarnia, Ontario on August 17, 1916.  Next or Kin:  Mother Mrs. Lottie Simpson;  He enlisted in Chatham, Ontario;  Address at Enlistment was 40 Princess Street South;  Date of Enlistment:  November 4, 1942;

Served in Canada and the UK.  18 months service in Canada (RCA & CIC) 21 months service (UK)), employed as gunner while in artillery.  Transferred to infantry June 1943 and employed as a carpenter, and cook’s helper in the officer’s mess.

Date of Discharge:  March 1, 1946 on demobilization.

Date of Death:  January 5, 2006

Pte. A116515. Kent Regt. Born in Sarnia, ON. 17/08/1916. His next of Kin: Mrs. Lottie Simpson. He enlisted at Chatham, ON. 4/11/42 at the time he was living at 40 Princess St., South.

Victor served in Canada 18 Months with the RCA and CIC  and 21 months in England as a Gunner. He would transfer to the Infantry in June of 1943. He was assigned to be a carpenter and Cooks Helper in the Officers Mess,

Victor was discharged 1/03/46 Demobilization.

Victor James passed away 5/01/2006.
