Graydon was admitted to the London Military Hospital for treatment for Scabies and was Discharged 23/12/1
While training in Canada Graydon was promoted to L/Cpl. 5/05/16, then Cpl. 1/06/16. Unfortunately he went AWL (Absence Without Leave). He would reduced back to the ranks. He Would go AWL 15/02/17 to 11/01/17. He must have adjusted as he was promoted to Cpl. 15/02/1917
Embarked from Halifax, NS. 25/03/17 aboard the S. S. Lapland. Debarked at Liverpool7/04/17 and sent to the Segregation Camp. . He was reduced at Bramshott. .He was in the 25th Reserve Batt. until 1June, 17
He wa awarded the Good Conduct Badge. He was in England until 8 March when he was shipped overseas to France to the CCRC. In 2 April, 1918. 29 September, 1918 he badly sprained his right ankle, bad enough to be evacuated from the front, then back the Chanel to be stationed at Witley 2/10/18 with the 4th Res. His sprained right ankle was the result of being blown in to a trench by an aerial bomb explosion. His ankle was badly sprained, swollen and painful. He was at the 18th General Hospital – Camien for three months. He would be there as the war ended.
He would return to Canada and was discharged 19/02/1919 at London, ON. His last known address was 245 ½ Wyandotte St. East in Windsor, ON
