Lieutenant J. Mac Sheldon was stationed at Camp Borden from enlistment until October 15th, 1917, when he was transferred to Exhibition Camp, Toronto. January 3rd, 1918, he was given charge of the Dental Clinic Recruits Depot, R.A.F. and promoted to Captain, stationed at the Jesse Ketchum School, Toronto. September 30th, 1918, he left for Victoria, British Columbia en route to Siberia, where he was attached to the 16th. Field Ambulance, in charge of the Dental Ambulance.
