Born in 1920 at Chatham, ON. at 133 Elizabeth, Street and where he resided for 86 years. The son of Robert and Jeanie (nee Mathew) Shaw. Married to Betty (nee Pegg), the father of Don, Lynda (Cadotte), Nancy (Reinhart) an Dennis.
Bob served overseas with the RCASC.
After the war Bob returned to the home, raised his family while working at the Chatham Public General Hospital for 27 ½ years before retiring in 1986. Bob was a member of Royal Canadian Legion Br. 628.
