Born 20/06/1915 at Jeanette’s Creek. The son of Wellington H. and Frances Shaw. N of K: Mrs. W. H. Shaw of R. R. #2 Tilbury, ON. The brother of Frances Jean (King), Winnifred (Reed) and Isabelle (Dobson). His next of Kin is his wife, Mrs. Grace.
Albert enlisted in London, ON. Address at Enlistment, Jeanette’s Creek and served in England. He served as a Gunner 7th Medium Regt., 12th Battery.
Reported returned to Canada aboard the troopship “Parteur” landing at Quebec City. CDN. 11/08/45. Reported to be arriving in Chatham after crossing on the S. S. “Louis Pasteur” and being in process on leave in London, ON. CDN 13/08/45.
Albert passed away 21 December, 1999 and is buried in the Stewart Cemetery.
