The Memorial Cross went to Hugh McDonald of Mitchel’s Bay Kent Co., ON. (Beneficiary) – Father – Edward Sharp, 1542 Belvedore Ave., Detroit, Michigan.

While serving in the 18th Bn. Hubert was in action instantly when an enemy shell burst in his “Funk hole” at Passchendaele. His name is on the Nenin Gate (Ypres) Memorial Panel 10-26-28.
