Private William J. Schneider was called to Quebec about on month after enlistment per military orders, returned to St. Thomas, and left for overseas May 11th, 1918. In England he transferred to the Canadian Engineers as Sapper he crossed to France and joined the 12th Battalion Canada England with which unit he served until he was demobilised.
Discharged at Toronto June 15th 1919 due to demobilisation.
