The CDN (unknown) reported that LAC Sands stationed at RCAF Scoudoue NB. with his parents of Windsor were Christmas guest  with Mrs. Sand’s sister.  

The CDN 15/04/44 reported that LAC Sands had returned to New Brunswick after a ten day leave.

John’s daughter writes:  “John Elmer Sands served as a mechanic in the RCAF.”
