Private Arthur William Sanderson trained with the 33rd. Battalion in Canada, and left with a draft for England June 17th, 1915, proceeding to France August 24th, 1915, to the 1st. Canadian Battalion. He transferred to the 3rd, Canadian Tunnelling Company, Canadian Engineers with which unit served until he returned to Canada for demobilisation. He was awarded the 1914-1915 Star.
Discharged April 24th 1919 due to demobilisation.
