Lawrence enlisted with the Kent Regt. 10/09/40. Served overseas in the UK. And Continental Europe. Received the Italy Star, France &German Star, Defence Medal, War Medal 1939 – 45, G.S.V.M + Clasp.

Lawrence was married and had three daughters.  

He was Discharged 25/09/46 at the age of 41 yrs. 6 Mos.

Lawrence Edward passed away 11 May, 1995.
