Private Bruce M. Russell transferred form the 91st to the 186th Battalion, going overseas March 26th, 1917, and proceeding to France in August 1917, drafted to the 18th Battalion. He received gunshot wounds in the left leg and heel October 10th, 1918, entering hospital at Boulogne, France, and transferring one week later to Horton’s War Hospital, England. He returned to Canada Jan 1919.
Discharged at London Jan 10th 1919 due to demobilization.
