Gunner Robert Ross served as Cook in the R.C.A.T.C. from March 1941 to January 1944. He transferred to the R.C.A.S.C. and served as a Driver Mechanic from January 1944 to February 1946. He saw action in France, Belgium, Holland and Germany.
He received the C.V.S.M. and clasp the 1939-45 Star, the France and Germany Star and the Defence Medal.
