The only son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur G. Ross of Dresden, ON. Charles married Doris Phillips the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Phillips of Wabash, Kent Co. ON. Interestingly the wedding was at the Wesley Smith Memorial Church in Halifax NS. The honeymoon trip was to the Annapolis Valley and the couple resided in Halifax where Charles was stationed.

Served in Halifax and Newfoundland.
