Resident Wallaceburg

The son of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Robson of Camp St. Wallaceburg, ON. He enlisted in the RCAF  in September of 194 1.  LAC. Robson was reported home on a week-end leave from RCAF-Rockliffe school in Ottawa, ON. WN 8/10/42  The WN 24/12/42 reported that Richard was training at RCAF-Rockcliff, ON.   He and his and his wife were guest at his family home on Camp Street, Wallaceburg.  

He and his and his wife were guest at his family home on Camp Street, Wallaceburg.The WN 22/04/43 reported that LAC Robson had spent a two weeks furlough with his wife and parents before returning to RCAF-Rockcliffe, Ottawa. Home again in December 1943 on a two week leave to visit his wife and parents before being  transferred from Cap de La Madeline, PQ. to No. 5 S.F.T.S. RCAF-Brantford, ON. WN 2/12/43

He was at No.5 SFTS, RCAF Brantford before he completed his training in Canada. He went overseas in October 1944.

The CDN 22/06/45 (P) reported that he arrived in Canada and was on his way home after sailing on the S.S. Ile De France.
