The son of Mr. Balfour Robinson. It was reported from Wheatley, ON. The WJ 13/06/40 reported he had gone to Toronto to enter training in the RCAF. The WJ 4/07/40 reported he was at RCAF-Toronto and spent a weekend at his ‘old home’.  George said he was being used well, he liked his training but they have sent him back to school. He reported that he was making good progress and expected to be stationed at the Windsor training centre. While at Windsor he will be training for his pilot’s papers. WJ 25/07/40. The WJ 8/08/40  reported George was home on a week-end leave. George said that he took his first solo flight before left Windsor for his leave.  The WJ 27/08/40 reported that George was on a weekend leave from Windsor.  

The WJ 19/09/40 reported George was on a weekend at his home in Wheatley. The WJ 10/10/40 reported that after a few months training at Windsor, George had been transferred to ‘air school’ at Saskatoon, SK. 

The WJ 2/01/41 reported LAC Robinson, stationed at Saskatoon was able to spend Christmas with his father. George was also been awarded his wings and was transferred to the RCAF training centre at Trenton, ON. where he expects to start training for an instructor. The WJ 23/01/41 reported that Sgt. Robinson was training at RCAF – Trenton paid a short visit at his home. The WJ 6/03/41 reported Sgt. Robinson stationed at RCAF-Trenton was on a short leave to the village he was recovering from scarlet fever. The WJ 17/04/41 reported that Sgt. Robinson then at RCAF-Trenton was home for a weekend he was to be transferred to Dauphin, MB 

The CDN 29/10/43 reported that he was stationed at Summerside, PEI. He was home on furlough.

It was reported that F/O Robinson, serving overseas had been promoted to Flight Lieutenant. CDN 15/02/45.
