Allan passed away 26 June, 1991.

Allan Robinson served from 1941 until 1946 and wrote many letters to his family at home.  The letters highlight his time in service and also give a snapshot of life back home.  He was devoted to his family, and they to him, as his letters were lovingly preserved and given to Gathering Our Heroes to be shared and preserved.  Allan’s letters paint a picture of a young man eager for adventure, wanting to serve his country and just a little bit homesick.
