The son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Roberts of Gray St., Chatham. 

It was reported in the CDN 8/10/unknown that Lieut. Roberts had married Miss Evelyn Cadotte Reg. in the vestry of St. Mary’s Cathedral on Oct. 3 in Halifax, NS., where Lieut. Roberts was stationed. After the service the couple left on a “short motor trip”.

It was reported in the CDN (date unknown) had been promoted to the rank of Major. At the time he was stationed with the RCASC in Ottawa.
