Private Michael Robbins left Halifax for overseas March 26th, 1917, with the 186th Battalion, proceeding to France August 5th, 1917, drafted to the ? Battalion. At the Battle of Ypres, March 3rd, 1918, he was seriously wounded in the leg and was sent to hospital at Witley and Orpington where he remained until he was sent to Canada 1919.
Discharged at London unfit for further military service due to wounds received on Active service.
