Son of William F. and Electa Rhue, of North Buxton, Ontario.  Shirley’s parents spent a Sunday at BTC No. 12 to see their son. MS 13/11/41 Both Norval and Shirley Rhue were on a Sunday leave to visit their parents at North Buxton. MS 4/12/41

In March of 1942, Shirley was called up to Champ in Chatham to begin his military training along with other North Buxton men, A. H. and P. V. Alexander, T. Lewis, N. Wilson, and L. Robbins. CDN. 14/03/42

Age: 22, LAS. Date of Death: 01/01/1943.
