Private Cecil F. Reynolds served one year with the 24th Kent Militia.
Private Cecil F. Reynolds trained three months in Toronto, and left for England April 26th, 1916, with the Cycle Corps. Due to this Corps being disbanded he was transferred to the 74th Infantry Battalion, and later to the 67th Western Scots remaining in England with their base company. He then transferred to the Reserve Cyclists proceeding to France in June 1917. After completing his training as pilot, with honors, he was granted a commission in the Royal Air Force in September 1918.
