Private Sydney Reissner left for overseas with a draft from the W.O.R. May 11th, 1918, and while on board was transferred to the Canadian Engineers. He arrived at Tilbury, England, May 24th, 1918, and six weeks later crossed to France to the 7th Battalion, Canadian Engineers. He served until after the Armistice was signed, and returned to Canada in March 1919.
Private Sidney Reissner received his discharge March 28th, 1919, due to demobilization.
