The eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Reeves of Wallaceburg.  

The WN 31/10/40 was reported on a week-end leave spending time duck hunting with Pte. Manley Fraleigh. 

The CDN 3/09/43 reported that Cpl. Gerald Charles Reeves on Sept 4 married Iris Mary Lee at the Cronyn Memorial Church. The couple left on a short trip to Windsor On their return they resided at 236 Dundas St,  London.

In 1944 he was stationed at Wolsley Barracks, in the Medical Stores, London ON.
