The son of Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Reeder of 224 Adelaide St. South, Chatham, ON.,  Cecil enlisted with the First Kents. He had been stationed at Number 12 B.T.C.  He  was reported to have safely arrived in England with the Canadian Forces. Prior to going overseas Cecil was a L/Cpl. at No.12 Basic Training Camp in Chatham.  CDN 4/02/42.  

It was reported that Cecil then serving with the Hasting and Prince Edward Regt. was notified he was WIA while on duty in Italy. He had been serving in Italy for the past six months. (CDN date unknown. 

Served overseas two years in England and two years in Italy. Served in the Stores Supply Base.

Date of Discharge: March 1946

The husband of Marjorie (nee Tench), who passed away 25/09/2015.
