Private William Archie Ransom trained five years with the 24th Kent Regiment, Chatham. Private William Archie Ransom trained in London until November 1st, 1918, when he transferred to the 1st Depot Artillery at Guelph. Due to demobilization he was returned to London December 1st, where he trained until December 14th, when he was taken ill with Spanish Influenza which developed Pneumonia. He returned to London January 27th, 1919, transferring to the C.G.R.
