Born 24/02/1920, the son of Peter and Maria Anna (Busch) Prisner, brother of Michael who was serving with the Kent Regt., of Raleigh Twsp., Kent County, Ontario and Peter.
Albert joined the Essex Scottish Regt. on the 28th of August, 1941 and went overseas three months later. In a 2014 paper “Meeting Recaps” Alysson Story reported that with the help of Albert’s younger brother during a trip to Ortona, Italy pieced together the puzzle that surrounded his death. According to her story Albert and seven of his comrades had been ambushed and killed by Germans on 17 October, 1943 on the road to Santo Stefano.
