Resident Chatham

Born in Chatham, ON. in 1914 the son of William Francis and Louisa (Bourassa). The brother of Lucy (Cape), Wilfred, Felix, Leopold, Marie and Irene. Married to his wife Evelyn (nee Van Horne) was living at 61 ½ King St. West, Chatham, ON. No known children. Prior to enlisting Frank was a linotype operator for the Chatham Daily News. CDN 23/01/45.

Frank trained in Petewawa, he had been serving with artillery regiment for two and a half years on the west coast since 1943. The CDN 5/04/44 reported that Pte. Primeau had returned to the west coast after spending his furlough in Chatham with his wife and parents.

Frank went overseas with the Royal Canadian Regiment it was reported that Evelyn had received a letter from her husband that he had arrived overseas in England. CDN 23/01/45

The CDN 4/02/46 reported that Francis returned from overseas, serving only in England 

Francis retired from the CDN in 1979.

Frank passed away 24 September, 1980 at the age of 80 years of age. Internment at Van Horne Cemetery.
