The son of Mr. and Mrs. Warren Prendergast. Bill was reported home from RCAF Hamilton on a Christmas leave. CDN 29/12/42. He had a brother Donald with the RCE.
William completed his radio technician course at RCAF Hamilton, ON in May of 1943 and was home in Tilbury for a short furlough before proceeding to Toronto for further courses. TT 27/05/43. LAC Prendergast of Windsor E.F.T.S., was reported at home in Tilbury on a weekend leave. CDN 15/03/44.
