Of Chatham.  The son of Mrs. Ada Poole of Wheatley.   The WJ 27/11/41 reported that he spent a weekend with his mother.  It was reported in the CDN 22/03/44 had sent his mother a box of souvenirs from Italy which included a musical clock, lace collars and some French and Italian coins.

George are served with the RCEME [Royal Canadian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers.  He also served with RCASC [Royal Canadian Army service Corps] in Italy.

He was born in 1920 and died in 1999. 

George was born and buried in Wheatley.
