The Wabash “Social” for February 3rd 1942 reported that Pte. Poag and Mrs. Mary Stonefish were visiting Jim’s parents. CDN 3/02/42.

It was reported that James was engaged in mechanical work in Kingston, ON. CDN 10/12/42

Member of Carleton & York Regt.   Reported to be returning from overseas duty aboard the S.S. Nieuw Amsterdam, CDN 26/09/45.

Next of kin reported as his parents George and Lulu Poag, R. R. # 7 Thamesville, ON.

Discharged November 10th, 1945.

 

James passed away 3 May, 1995 at the age of 75 years old.
