Son of  Mrs. John Phillips of Forest Ave., Tilbury was stationed at Niagara-at-the-Lake in December of 1941 when he was on a holiday furlough at his home in Tilbury. TT 25/12/41. It was reported in the TT 29/01/42 that Mike was at his parents home again on leave, still at Niagara-on-the-Lake. In April of 1943 he was on leave from Terrace, BC., still with the 1^st Kents
