The son of George and Ruby Phair of Dresden, ON. The husband of Mary Lucille (nee Munro), the father of Lana (Phair-Sutherland), Georgia and Michael.

In 1944 Lucille met Carl then a Flt. Lieut. in the RCAF from Dresden, ON., home on leave from PEI where he was training to be a pilot. After a whirlwind courtship they married and she moved to Charlottetown PEI.

Discharged September 8th, 1945.

After the war they moved to Sudbury for a time before settling in Wallaceburg, ON. CDN-Obit (wife) 27/12/16.
