Born in Chatham, in 1915. The son of Alva and May (Glassford), the brother of Guy (RCAF).   Married to Vera “Penny”, 4/05/44, the father of Suzanne (nee White). Brother of Guy G. R68124. LM-LP, Grave marker in Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham, ON.(P) JRH.

Date of Discharge: April 30, 1941

Gerald passed away 27 December, 1996 at the age of 81 years old.  Interment at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham, ON.
