Private Alfred Bernard Pesha enlisted in Chatham August 17th, 1914, and left for Valcartier August 22, 1914. September 4th, 1914, he was chosen to be attached to the R.C.R. for service in Bermuda for a short time, sailing September 6th, and proceeding from Halifax Sept. 11th. Arriving at Bermuda September 13th, he was medically examined but failed to pass the required examination for attestation to the R.C.R. and after a further medical board of Imperial officers he was billed for Canada. He sailed on the Chandiere to St. John December 12th, 1914, arriving in Chatham December 19th, 1914.
Private Alfred Bernard Pesha received his discharge from military service at Halifax December 17th, 1914.
