Born in 1914 the son of Lewis and Matilda (Merner). Jack married Bonnie (nee Burke) 29/03/40 and they had Brian born 28 Apr.,1941.
Served in Canada at Petawawa Camp.
Date of Discharge: July 13th 1945
After the war he worked for various Brewers and got into Real Estate founding J. S. Peifer & Son, he retired in 1993.
John passed away 27 May, 1995 at the age of 81 years old. Internment at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham, ON.
