Pte. Harry Pegg was a member of the 24th Kent Regiment, Chatham, for a year prior to enlistment.
Pte. Harry Pegg embarked for overseas March 28th, 1917, with the 186th Battalion, having transferred from the 91st Battalion with the Kents. He was stationed at Bramshott until July, 1917, then to France attached to the 18th Battalion. After the battle at Passchendaele, November 1917, he was taken ill and admitted to Hospital.
