The son of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Pegg of Dresden. Ernest was returning to his base at Saint John, NB. after a two week furlough. Mrs. Pegg and their son Lyle accompanied him back. For the past year mother and son made their home with her parents.

Pte. Pegg was married when he was on a weekend leave visiting friends in Dresden DT 22/04/43

Discharged December 21st, 1945.
