Bandsman Joseph Ernest Peasgood was a member of the 24th Kent Regiment Band for 12 years.
Bandsman Joseph Ernest Peasgood left for overseas with the 186th Battalion March 26th, 1917, training with the 4th Reserve Battalion, Bramshott Camp, until transferred to the 156th Battalion, Witley. He was later returned to the 4th Reserve for duty with the band until leaving for Canada December 8th, 1918, arriving at Halifax December 14th, 1918.
Bandsman Joseph Ernest Peasgood received his discharge January 13th, 1919, due to demobilization.
