The son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank E. Pearson of 169 Joseph, St., Chatham. 

He enlisted in September of 1940. Received his training at Toronto, Montreal, MacDonald and Dunnville and was posted to Western Command. He was serving at 1st Divisional Signals for three years as an instructor, promoted to the rank of Flying Officer in August of 1943 and the CDN 10/05/44 reported he was stationed on the western coast.

Bill was reported home on a Christmas leave from RCAF-Saskatoon. CDN 14/12/44.
