Private Bert Parker trained until April 1915, going overseas then under command of Colonel Wigel of Windsor. After some training in England he was returned to Canada as medically unfit for further service and discharged Feb 21st 1916.
He re-enlisted with the Railway and Forestry Batt in Dresden Jan 27th 1917 and was sent to Toronto and proceeded to England and France remaining there until the end of the war when he returned to Canada.
Discharged July 30th 1919 due to demobilization.
