Born in 1910, the son of Robert Franklin Park and Lillian Elizabeth Park, of R.R.5 Chatham, Ontario, brother of Clark Kane and Margaret, Ivy, Mary, Basil and John. The husband of Ellen (nee Hoskins) the father of Jerry, William ‘Billy’ and Debra.

Pte. Park enlisted in Chatham in January of 1942. He received his training at No.12 BTC – Chatham along with London and Kingston. The CDN 10/02/43(P) reported Frank had arrived overseas in the Ordinance Corp.

Malcolm Park served overseas as a Craftsman in the Army four years.  Frank was a driver / mechanic serving in Sicilian campaign in the summer of 1943.    He was with the first Canadians to land in Sicily under General Montgomery and was wounded by shrapnel fragments.  He received the 1939 – 1943 Star and African Star.

Date of Discharge: December 1945

He was listed living at R.R. #5 Chatham, Twsp. when he returned (KCFA). CDN 19/10/44

Malcolm passed away 2 January, 1987 at the age of 70 years of age.
