Born 1901 in Chatham, ON. the son of Archibald and Albertina Park, of Chatham; husband of Jean T. Park, of 500 King St. West, Chatham.
Previous Military Experience: Served with the Simcoe Foresters and with the Kent Regiment (MG) N. P. A. M.
Archibald served in the Simcoe Foestry Batt. and the Kent Regt. (MG). He was also the Weapons-training Officer at BTC. No.12 at Chatham. He served as a Captain working in Ottawa and spent six months serving in England where he earned the “Efficiency Decoration”.
The CDN 18/09/43 reported that Captain Park was arriving from Ottawa (No. 12 BTC) on a weekend leave with wife Jean and family at King St. West. The CDN 24/12/43 reported that Captain Park as spending Christmas Park and family on King St. West in Chatham
It was reported in the CDN 15/12(P) and 20/12/44 that Captain Park had been in London, England on a special assignment for the Canadian Military Headquarters for the past six months. He was discharged from service in March of 1945.
Received the Efficiency Decoration.
