Married and wife was residing in Chatham. Prior to his enlistment he was a painter and decorator.

Trained at Windsor, Petawawa and Debert. Posted for overseas duty and served in England, Belgium and Holland.

The CDN 11/08/44(P) that Stewart enlisted in July of 1943 and was serving overseas.

Stewart was reported returning to Canada aboard the Queen Elizabeth. CDN 17/11/45(P 

Date of Discharge: February 21st, 1946

Stewart  passed away 15 July, 1972 at the age of 72 years old.
