Private Thomas D. Page went overseas with the 91st Battalion June 25th, 1916, and after two weeks in Otterpool went to West Sandling.From there, he went to France, August, 19th, 1916, with a draft for the 38th Battalion. He went through the engagements at the Somme, November 18th, 1916, and Vimy Ridge April 9th, 1917, receiving wounds in the left hand and right leg on the night of April 25th, 1917. An operation was performed on the left hand at the 23rd Casualty Clearing Station and he was transferred to Alexandra Hospital, Stockport, Manchester, and later to Basingstoke. He was invalided to Canada, leaving December 29th, 1917, and arriving in Canada January 10th, 1918. He remained in hospital until July 30th, 1918.

Discharged July 30th, 1918.
