Lieutenant Wilson H. O’Loane received his Commission March 9th, 1916, after a course at the Royal School of Instruction, London. He was taken on the strength of the 186th Battalion as a supernumery officer, transferring to Reserve of Officers in November 1916. January 3rd, 1918, he was attached to the 1st Depot Battalion, proceeding overseas with a draft, as Transport Officer, February 14th, 1918. He returned to Canada April 3rd, 1918.

Returned to active Militia 15/02/21 “Last Pay”  17/12/18 at London, ON. – Served in Canada and England w/1st Depot. “ Conducting Officer” 5/12/18. “Also served as Superary to 186th Bn, at Camp Borden.

11/19/18 – Barling Heights – extreme headache and serve headaches, Temp: 102/100, pulse down to 80, feeling much better finally temp of 68.
