Lieut D.R. Oliver enlisted with the 91st Battalion at St Thomas in Oct 1915, afterwards transferring to the 186th Battalion on the organization of that unit, with which he proceeded overseas going to France in Aug 1917. He served with the 18th Battalion, was promoted captain in September 1918, and returned to Canada in Command of D Coy.
Discharged from the C.E.F. at London May 24th 1919 due to demobilization.
