Trained in Canada for fourteen months in Navigation. Posted for overseas duty in 1943 and completed his tour of operations over Germany and West Front targets. Promoted to the rank of Flying Officer. Won the D.F.C.
The CDN 7/02/45 reported that F/O Oldershaw, F/O Navigator had completed his tour of operations over enemy territory was slated to return home.
The CDN 5/03/45 reported that F/O. Oldershaw had completed his tour and was returning home.
